This product will save you the trouble of scrolling through your many VST plug ins looking for the perfect disco synth, where I have spared you the unpleasantries of such a gruelling task by programming in the very best sounds for your tracks where you can select the one you want within a range of a short few.
In this Sampler are 3 categories which are
SYNTH BASS
BRASS & LEAD
KEYS & SYNTHS
So it is ideal for when you have laid down your chords and your main riffs but you now want to select the correct sounds for the track to give it the authentic feel such as a synth bass or a lead line etc.
How it works is very easy and simple to operate. You download the plug in and drag the Ableton ADG file into a midi track and then you will see the various banks and a blue circle above the small screen. This is the midi controlled dial which allows you to switch instantly from sound to sound with ease and allows you to audition them. Pretty much like any other synth does but these sounds are all specific to the genres of Disco, Funky House and Electro Funk etc.
This is only available for Ableton but you can purchase the files and add them to your own digital sampler and assign the sounds to your choice of DAW. It would just mean manually doing it for each sound but the option is there for other DAW users.
