Making a random Boogie Funk Track

Sometime we have to just hit the record button and make what ever comes out naturally without thinking too much. That is exactly what I did here one afternoon and out came a bright and funky groove.

Many producers like myself included tend to over think things before writing any music and it can cripple your flow. Some days are naturally flowing and others are a long hard slog uphill.

So when you start to think what will I produce today and what sounds shall I select etc. Just stop yourself and go for it with your chosen genre in mind and hit record.

A good starting point is grab a pre produced drum loop so you are not spending too much time on drums and therefore you can get straight to the groove.
