Disco House music comes in many forms and has been splintered off into many directions over the years. Before I began Waxadisc I was always producing music in the funky genres and most notably Disco House under my previous name AREA SOCIAL and now over the last ten years or so I have gone under the name ROBJAMWEB.

1970's New York Styled Disco Course

The first part of the course is the one that is inspired by the legendary Patrick Adams and his P&P records sound from the mid to late 1970's. His use of unusual analogue synths made his music instantly distinctive to other producers of the era. His raw style is one that is hugely influential among producers today.

1980's Synth Boogie Course

The second part of the course is a 1980's synth boogie course which is inspired by the sounds of West End records and those bands from that era such as Shalamar, The Gap Band and other Electronic Funk acts in the post Disco era of the early to mid 80's. Here you will learn the key skills that will equip you with the techniques to produce this kind of music that was heavily reliant on the synthesizer.

Modern Day Nu -Disco Course

The final part of the trio of courses is a modern day Nu-Disco House styled course. The track you will be producing is loosely inspired by the track "In Your Arms" by Purple Disco Machine and his style of using traditional Disco sounds and instruments whilst maintaining a modern sound also.

The course is easy to follow and gives you many tips and tricks to produce your own track that is designed to rock the Disco.

This course will give you both the techniques for Disco and for House music alike so you can go off and produce your own tracks in Nu-Disco by using these elements.
